A Seattle law firm has an immediate opening in their administration group for an intellectual property docketing assistant. You will work within the docketing department and assist with various tasks including conflict searches, docketing/dedocketing dates, reviewing faxes, reviewing and identifying information related to both U.S. and foreign PTO matters and providing updates and status reports to relevant personnel. You will utilize CPI in performing the duties of the position. The key to this position is strong communication skills, and the ability to relate to a variety of people within the office environment, including assistants, paralegals and attorneys, as well as others within your department. REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 – 5 years current IP docketing experience (more experience is welcome). Candidates with experience in CPI are preferred. Other essential requirements include strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, intermediate to advanced computer skills and proven analytical skills.
