Document Processing Specialist (Legal)

We are currently searching for a qualified document processor to join a downtown law firm for a permanent, full-time position.  You will work with a group of team members within a document processing department and produce various documents for all members of the firm.  Your expertise with MS Office, iManage, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and other programs will qualify you for consideration, along with your excellent attention to detail;  you will also utilize your proofreading/editing/redlining and complex document production skills.  Your projects will be varied and include the creation of documents, scanning, making edits, redlining, formatting and conversions.  The firm provides a competitive salary, stable management and frequent training to maintain a high level of proficiency with various technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:  Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years current experience as a legal document processor.  Advanced skills in MS Office, (including Excel and PowerPoint ), Visio and Adobe Acrobat are required.  The position also requires candidates be able to work quickly, efficiently and accurately under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer support and service at all times.  Attention to detail, proven editing and proofreading skills and excellent grammar, vocabulary and spelling skills are all crucial to success in the position.  The qualified candidate will be able to work independently with little supervision.
