We are looking for an IP specialist with US/domestic patent prosecution experience to join a firm and work with their IP Practice team.  This position allows candidates to work in the office at their discretion though must be available in office for special projects, team meetings and local office events.   We are able to consider candidates in Seattle, San Diego, Palo Alto, Denver, Chicago, Reston, Washington DC, Boston and NYC.  The position will support the group with US filings (25%) as well as review and management of the filings to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness (75%).  This oversight role is a major component of the position and requires candidates to have the experience and confidence needed to review and correct US/domestic patent work from all staff  The firm offers a competitive salary of $74- $100K DOE for this position (please note that final offer amount will be dependent on location, experience and skillset of the candidate) and a complete benefits package.  The firm also provides a comprehensive orientation process.

REQUIREMENTS:  Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years’ current experience in an IP role with experience in full cycle US/domestic patent prosecution work.  Attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent customer service skills are all needed in this position.  Four-year degree is preferred, along with proficiency with MS Office Suite and iManage.   Please note that ONLY candidates living in/near Seattle, San Diego, Palo Alto, Denver area/Colorado, Chicago, Reston, Washington DC, Boston and NYC will be considered.
