Legal Assistant (Litigation/Tax)

A full time, permanent position is available in a Seattle law firm. We are seeking a legal secretary/assistant with 3+ years of litigation experience for immediate hire. The position supports attorneys with a busy practice that involves a variety of litigation cases in various venues related to tax issues. Duties include heavy transcription, calendaring, scheduling/docketing, case management and e-filing as well as various projects on cases. REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years current litigation legal secretarial experience and Washington experience is preferred. Current e-filing knowledge within the local, state and federal court systems is required along with excellent document production skills and intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office. Any experience with administrative court procedures and appellate court filings would be considered a plus. Highly motivated, flexible candidates who are comfortable with a fast-paced desk and know how to organize and prioritize will be successful in the position.
