Downtown Seattle law firm is seeking a legal assistant with real estate/transactional experience to support a busy practice group. This established firm has a fast-paced, busy practice and this position will include a variety of duties including transactional work as a legal secretary (document production, file management, client contact and scheduling) as well as document preparation and file management related to real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, financings and investments. The firm will provide a full benefit package and competitive compensation.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should have a minimum of 2-5 years of current transactional real estate experience in a law firm or legal department. Expertise in Word, Excel and other MS Office programs is also required, along with proven experience in handling (editing, proofreading, preparing) large-volume documents that are standard with commercial real estate transactions. Experience with NetDocs and timekeeping programs also helpful.
