Legal Assistant (Trusts/Estates)

We are seeking a legal assistant to join a downtown law firm and support several attorneys with a varied practice that includes trusts and estate planning, probate and litigation related to these matters.  Your particular expertise in these areas will qualify you for consideration.  The firm provides an employee-friendly environment, great benefits and strong, stable management.  The position offers an opportunity for substantive billable tasks as well as administrative support to a high-level partner.  This thriving firm will provide a competitive salary and a full benefits package to the chosen candidate.  This position requires attendance in the office for training and a hybrid schedule may be considered post-training, but people who want to work in the office will be given preference.

REQUIREMENTS:  5 years or more of current estate planning experience;  experience in dealing with high net-worth clients is a plus.  Knowledge of litigation rules and procedures along with document preparation is preferred but not required.  Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new programs;  excellent administrative skills including organizational abilities;  proficiency with MS Office Suite and highly developed communication skills and client services skills required.
