Mid-size Seattle law firm with a busy litigation practice is seeking a litigation legal assistant to support shareholder attorneys. This position will work very closely with these attorneys on their practice involving insurance litigation. Your tasks will include scheduling, docketing and file management as well as travel planning and organizing. The firm provides a casual atmosphere with congenial co-workers, and will offer a competitive salary ($45 – 55K DOE with actual salary will be dependent upon experience and skillset of the candidate) and a full benefits package to the qualified candidate.
REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 1 year current litigation legal secretarial experience is required, with knowledge (rules and ECF filing procedures) of local (Washington and/or Oregon) and federal court rules REQUIRED. Candidates should have excellent organizational abilities along with strong proofreading, grammar, spelling/editing skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of all the basic MS Office programs is required. Proven ability to exercise excellent judgment, understand priorities and communicate effectively are all important skills for success in this position.
