Litigation Legal Assistant
There is an opportunity available at a downtown Seattle law firm for a litigation legal assistant. You will support shareholders with very busy practices involving various litigation matters. Your expertise with document production, case management and strong administrative skills will be key to success in the position, along with proven problem-solving skills as projects will often require research and knowledge of various court rules and special filings. You will also be called upon to work collaboratively with others and assist various attorneys as needed. The firm provides a strong management structure and systems training. The qualified candidate will be offered a competitive salary (range from $65 to 86K DOE, and actual pay may vary depending upon the candidate’s specific qualifications and other job- related factors permitted by law.) The firm provides a full benefits package as well.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ current legal assistant experience with expertise in litigation; specific experience with Washington and Federal courts is REQUIRED. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills. Strong organizational skills along with proven administrative skills are also required. Candidates should have experience supporting multiple attorneys and have the ability to prioritize using sound judgment. Flexibility and a team-player attitude are also crucial as you will be called upon to manage multiple assignments with various deadlines and priorities. The position will be permanently hybrid with work in-office 3 days a week/remote work 2 days a week after a 90 day in-office training period.
