A firm specializing in various business and civil litigation matters is seeking a paralegal. This legal position offers a great opportunity to manage cases and take the lead support role in the firm’s complex litigation matters. Your high-level litigation skills will be put to use as your manage cases from inception through trial. You will work in Relativity and/or other litigation support databases and collaborate with the firm’s other paralegal and e-discovery manager. The position requires a legal professional with experience in managing high-volume document cases and necessitates possessing very strong organizational skills. Hands on experience with all facets of litigation case management is required. REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of five years litigation paralegal experience is required. Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills. Experience with all litigation phases and processes is essential, as well as having an intermediate to advanced level of expertise with litigation support databases such as Relativity (or similar program). The position requires experience in dealing with cases involving a high volume of documents and the inherent organizational issues surrounding those types of cases. Knowledge of local (Washington) and federal court rules is required and trial experience is also required, along with intermediate to advanced knowledge of all MS Office programs (proficiency with Excel is crucial).
