A mid-size Seattle boutique law firm has an immediate opening for a receptionist. This position offers interaction with the entire firm on a daily basis as you answer phones, assist with some accounting/billing tasks, prepare time-sheet entries and handle mail and faxes. The position also includes vendor relations and assisting the firm with special events and planning. Basic tasks may be assigned by secretaries or paralegals which may include preparing simple cover letters or transmittal letters. This will provide a great opportunity to be part of a law firm and learn from the ground up. REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or four year degree and at least six months to one year of experience in a professional environment; law firm experience or related volunteer legal experience with receptionist duties is a plus. The position requires a professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Communication skills, both verbal and written are essential as you will deal with a wide variety of professionals on a daily basis. Technical/computer skills (competency with MS Office Suite) are also an important part of the duties of the position. The position is full time Monday through Friday.
