Word Processor (Legal)
We are currently searching for a qualified word processor to join a downtown law firm for a permanent part time position (30 hours per week, evening shift). You will work with a group of team members within a WP department and produce various documents for all members of the firm. Your expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe will qualify you for consideration, along with your excellent attention to detail along with proofreading/editing/redlining and complex document production skills. Your projects will be varied and include the creation of documents, scanning, making edits, redlining, formatting and conversions. The firm provides a competitive salary, stable management and frequent training to maintain a high level of proficiency with various technologies.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years current experience as a legal word processor. Advanced skills in MS Office, (including Excel and PowerPoint ) and Adobe Acrobat are required. The position also requires candidates be able to work quickly, efficiently and accurately under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer support and service at all times. Attention to detail, proven editing and proofreading skills and excellent grammar, vocabulary and spelling skills are all crucial to success in the position. The qualified candidate will be able to work independently with little supervision.
