Resume – have you checked it?

As a recruiting firm we review many resumes on a daily basis.  A surprising percentage of resumes submitted have spelling, grammar and/or formatting issues.  We cannot stress enough the importance of reviewing your resume prior to sending it to any recruiting firm or directly to a position posting.  Most clients we work with will disqualify you as a candidate when errors are found on the resume.  That includes the small things like making sure fonts are all the same throughout the resume, bullet points and paragraphs are consistent, and there are no spelling and/or grammar errors.

Review, review and review again before sending.  In legal, no matter what the role is, attention to detail is of paramount importance.
